Orquestra Juvenil Geração
Orquestra Juvenil Geração (Generation Youth Orchestra) is back at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s Grand Auditorium. The concert marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Portuguese composer Joly Braga Santos and celebrates cultural diversity with the repertoire composed under B-Me (Blending melodies: bridging cultural identities), a European co-creation and cultural exchange project that brings together Portugal, Cyprus and Greece Youth Symphony Orchestra systems. With more than 100 young people from all the Orquestra Geração centres in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, this concert will also feature nine young people from the Cyprus System who took part in the Orquestra Geração summer internship.
