Lakecia Benjamin

On her fourth album, American saxophonist, arranger, composer, and educator, Lakecia Benjamin prepares to ascend to a place of enormous prominence on the jazz world. Phoenix, produced by multi-Grammy winner Terri Lyne Carrington, is her highly anticipated new record that also represents a musical evolution in her career. The album features collaborations with Dianne Reeves, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Patrice Rushen, Sonia Sanchez, Angela Davis and Wayne Shorter. On November 5, the artist presents this new work at Teatro da Trindade.
