Bleeding Edge

After its debut in Rome, the exhibition now presents its second chapter at the Portuguese gallery, featuring works by Lucia Cantò, Maja Escher, Satya Forte, Teresa Magalhães, Ana Marchand, Elisa Montessori and Claire de Santa Coloma.

The term bleeding edge refers to something extremely advanced or innovative, to the point of being risky or not yet fully tested. Often used in the fields of technology and science, it describes cutting-edge ideas or technologies at the forefront of development. This resonates with the artists featured in this exhibition, whose researches push the boundaries of what is known or conceivable.
