Lisbon Flamenco Festival

From October 24 to 26, at 9.30 pm, Capitólio will host the 2018 Lisbon Flamenco Festival. Almost synonymous with Spanish culture, Flamenco was listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2010. This year, some of Flamenco’s most renowned artists – dancers, singers, and guitar players – will perform in Lisbon.
In the annual Tribute to Paco de Lucia, sisters Ursula and Tamara López will ‘dance’ the essence of the Master with great feeling and talent. Premiere in Portugal. Esther Merino, who has won the major Flamenco Festivals in Spain over the last few years, delivered a brilliant performance at the 2011 Lisbon Flamenco Festival. Dancer and choreographer Maria Juncal, who has also performed in Lisbon in 2011, returns to the Portuguese capital for another breathtaking performance.
