Ah, Amália

Ah, Amália – Living Experience is the first immersive biographical experience dedicated to a Portuguese figure. In this biographical experience, the senses are invited to immerse themselves in Amália’s universe, in a virtual interaction that accentuates her timelessness. Over 700m2, in the city’s new cultural hub, in Marvila, visitors are guided by the voice of the fado singer, in a unique journey through the artist’s tangible and intangible legacy. Explore period set designs, dynamic and interactive content, merging the physical with the digital and cutting-edge technology.

In the eight rooms of this exhibition, different thematic environments are combined to make Amália known in her various dimensions – artistic, social, personal and international.

Virtual Reality
Crossing a high-impact scenic installation with a virtual reality experience, the physical and digital dimensions come together to provide a unique sensorial experience.

360º Room
In this room you get to know Amália through an immersive 360º experience, with multimedia and videomapping, allowing the viewer to feel part of this “Strange Way of Life”.

Hologram
With a full-scale hologram and scenography that replicates the Olympia stage in Paris, the public will have the unique opportunity to witness a performance by the fado singer.
