Alice in Wonderland
From the work by L. Carroll
Alice in Wonderland is a work written by Lewis Carroll in 1865, inserted in the nonsense literary genre. This book is known for its unique and surreal narrative. The story follows Alice, an extremely curious girl, who, while chasing a white rabbit, falls into its hole and is transported to a world of fantasy. Lewis Carroll used a rich combination of linguistic resources and mathematical riddles, creating a satire that reflected both the people in his social circle and the Victorian society of the time.
The CNB production of Alice in Wonderland premiered in 2021, at Teatro Camões, in the choreographic version by Howard Quintero, co-produced by RTP, and now returns to the stage to continue entertaining the public.
