Alkantara Festival

“The 2024 festival programme dances between life and death, death and life” announces the opening text of this year’s edition of the historic performing arts festival. Between November 15th and December 1st, several venues in the city host artistic works where “lives are heavy with violence, grief, and injustice”, but also hope “in the works that show us the most optimistic versions of what our future might be”.

There are more than a dozen excellent shows, talks, two guest programmes (Earthways and Mostra.Braba), gatherings and a concert.
