André Rieu will return to Portugal to perform at Altice Arena on the 2nd and 3rd of December, 2021. With 13 sold-out shows in 2019, Lisbon has become a very special city for the conductor: “2019 was a very special year for me because that’s when my fantastic love story with the Portuguese public began. I’m incredibly grateful for your passion, your affection and the good times we spent together night after night. I’m looking forward to returning and making these Christmas Concerts of ours a tradition. I don’t know a more fantastic place to spend this beautiful time of the year than Portugal,” says André Rieu.
With over 500 Platinum Awards, three Classical Brit Awards for Album of the Year , and billions of YouTube followers, Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra (60 people – the largest private orchestra in the world) have created a waltz revival movement.
