Drawing Room Lisboa

The 7th edition of Drawing Room Lisboa dedicated to contemporary design returns, from October 23 to 27, and brings 26 art galleries, representing nearly 70 Portuguese and international artists.

The international character of the fair and the necessary balance between continuity and renewal means that some of the most important Portuguese galleries are present, some for the first time. Thus, to the regulars Vera Cortês, Filomena Soares, 3+1 Arte Contemporânea, Bruno Múrias and Miguel Nabinho, from Lisbon, Lehman + Silva and Pedro Oliveira, from Porto, or even Fonseca Macedo – Arte Contemporânea, from Azores, join newcomers Galeria Francisco Fino, who will present a solo show by Gabriel Abrantes, or Galeria Nuno Centeno, based in Porto, which will present the work of José Pedro Croft, among others.

The Portuguese representation also includes four international galleries: the Spanish Galería Siboney and Galería Silvestre, the German Jahn und Jahn and Monitor, based in Italy. The art fair has gained prominence in the contemporary art scene, as it asserts itself as a contribution to creating opportunities for the artists dedicated to drawing and affirming the space that drawing can occupy in the contemporary art sector.
