Curated by Sara Antónia Matos, this exhibition aims to set up a dialogue between the works of Júlio Pomar and Hugo Canoilas. Using Pomar’s bestiary, which features the huge diversity of animals depicted by the artist over more than 70 years, Canoilas reflects on what existed before the dawn of mankind and what will remain after its disappearance.
