Luzmila Carpio

Music from another world, which may escape to some, but leaves deep marks on many others. Luzmila Carpio was born in 1954 in the Qala Qala indigenous community, in Potosí. She is a Bolivian singer and songwriter whose songs are mostly sung in the Quechua language, inspired by the nature of the Andes and the songs of her ancestors.
