Queer Lisboa

The International Queer Film Festival presents its 28th edition, with a programme that focuses mainly on Queer Resistance, a tribute to communities and populations living in areas of conflict or threatened by the extreme right.

In addition to this political side, a retrospective dedicated to the American artist and director William E. Jones is also presented, which uses archive material to reinterpret themes such as architecture and urbanism of the American Midwest, state propaganda machine, police surveillance and repression, communism and pornography production in Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall and in the USA in the pre-AIDS epidemic period.
