Sara Correia

Sara Correia embarks on this tour having achieved the status of a phenomenon: she travelled across the world under applause, launched two albums acclaimed by the public, praised by the critics and awarded in the industry, she was nominated for a Latin Grammy and she confirmed fado as her home. As Sara Correia says, Liberdade, her third record, is “the most fado-heavy”. Beginning with the melodic fado language, with strong Portugal-centric undertones, melodies with different arrangements and more eclectic, free and unstereotypical sounds are draped over it. On stage, together with her band, Sara Correia delivers a uniform and cohesive show, albeit tinged with many different colours and textures that stem from subtle experiences and influences captured from other genres.
