Telmo Pires was born in Bragança. When he was two years he moved to Essen, Germany. He discovered his connection to Portuguese roots and traditional music, especially Fado, from a young age. At CCB, he presents the songs from his last album, Através do Fado (2020), which he describes as «a pure album.»
