Tó Trips & Fake Latinos

Tó Trips is a guitar veteran. For almost 20 years, he was half of Dead Combo, more recently, he embraced a new project, Club Makumba (with João Doce, Gonçalo Prazeres and Gonçalo Leonardo), and throughout his career, he has developed an original approach to solo guitar, having released the albums Guitarra 66 (2009), Guitarra Makaka (2015) and Popular Jaguar (2023).

Now, he is preparing to present his new album Dissidente. The new work will be presented at Maria Matos on March 31, where the guitarist takes the stage with Fake Latinos, a lineup featuring Alexandre Frazão on drums, António Quintino on double bass and Helena Espvall on cello.
